I am worried about losing my job so I am looking into income protection. Recently, there has been a lot of layoffs at my work. The job I am currently doing is being replaced by a machine. I had been here for almost 25 years and I am close to retirement. Unfortunately, I will need to work another five years. I worry that I will not make it to retirement, but I will probably be laid off before. This is not something I worried about when I first started, but I am very concerned now. I am worried about supporting my family if I get laid off. My wife is a person that stays at home and I still have children that are in school. I worry that I will not be able to support them if I do lose my job. This is why I am trying to find protection. They mean a lot to me.
